Coconut Oil recipes, Dairy Creamer replacement

Are you looking for some ways to get more coconut oil in your diet, and maybe a little less dairy, using coconut oil recipes? This seems to be a growing trend. Here’s a good way to infuse coconut oil into your diet via using it in place of your dairy coffee creamer.

The only pain to this will be dealing with the cashews, the rest is pretty painless.

You will need: Cashews, Agave, Vanilla Extract, some Coconut Milk, and cold pressed Coconut Oil.

First, you want to clean your cashews and soak them in water all night. Amounts used depend on the amount you want to make of your new amazing creamer, but I would go with a cup to a cup and a half (on the high side). Let them soak for a night. In the morning, they should be nice and soft and ready to be blended into creamer magic!

Now, put the following into a blender:

A few tablespoons of agave (this is your sweetener, so you will have to “give or take” as you feel neseccary). Remember, sugar can be a bit bad, so try not to go to crazy.

A dab of vanilla extract. You could do less than a teaspoon here. Vanilla extract is rather strong.

1/2 – 1 cup of coconut milk, again, depending on how much you want to end up with.

3 tbsp of coconut oil.

Turn blender on. When finished, pour in a container and then use in your coffee or tea!

Just like that, coconut oil becomes your healthy dairy substitute!
