Clik here to view.by cory hedgepeth – Here’s a completely simple coconut oil recipe that will get your metabolism burning and get your omega 3′s. It has no name. Mostly because I don’t name recipes. Yes, it’s paleo….
Here’s what I used.
1) Grass Fed Ground Beef
2) White Potatoes
3) Cold Pressed Coconut Oil
4) Pink Himalayan Salt
5) Spices: sage, lemon pepper, curry seasoning
6) Music: James Blunt, Live From London (this includes such hits as “You’re Beautiful” and the highly underrated “So Long, Jimmy,” which is an incredible seductive tribute to the late Jimmy Hendrix).
This is how it went down.
I hit play on my Phone to start the album. I threw 3 (count ‘em, 3) tablespoon globs of coconut oil into a pan. I turned the heat to just above medium until it melted down. I took white potatoes that I previously diced (I like to dice them small, potatoes are fighters to cook with when they are larger) and dumped them into the pan. I covered it. I stirred occasionally.
After about 20 minutes, I added the ground beef (I don’t do sizes here, you know how much you eat). I then added the spices and recovered for about another 10 minutes and bang, it was done.
The grass fed beef is a power shot of Omega 3 (yep, you just saved $40 on Fish Oil!).
