Adding virgin coconut oil to your diet is easy like Sunday morning. Ever thought about adding it to your morning oatmeal? Not only are the virgin coconut oil properties that boost immunity, provide digestive healing, fight cancer, and speed up metabolism great, but the addition of the healthy fat layer for slowing down carbohydrate absorption and controlling blood sugar are amazing as well.
All I did here was cook some instant oats with boiling water. I usually put the water and oats in simultaneously, which defies typical instructions, but its really however you feel works best as the end result should remain the same. Took around 3 minutes to cook, then I put the cooked oats in a bowl. I then added a couple of TBSP of Tropical Traditions Virgin Coconut oil, a sliver of KerryGold Grass Fed butter for an additional healthy fat and Omega 3 boost (not all butter is equal, only grass fed has Omega 3), some cinnamon topping, and some slices of bananas. That easy, and I am out the door with a massive health bomb!
