by cory hedgepeth Google The two biggest hurdles for those wanting to try or continue trying oil pulling tend to be making time for it, and the taste and texture in the mouth. Oil pulling takes around 15 to 20 minutes a day, so finding the time is something everyone has to decide for themselves (I do it while checking emails in the morning, or writing these articles). The other issue, flavor and texture, may now finally have a solution. Ziggy Marley has launched what seems to be, the only version of flavored Cold Pressed Coconut Oil that doesn’t make use of sugars, thereby compromising the health benefits. Instead, aroma is added, but the flavor turns out pure, non-intrusive and incredibly palatable. Using this to oil pull is an amazing solution for those that don’t like the taste, in addition, it leaves a wonderful lemony ginger flavor in the mouth afterwards (freshens breath).

1) Take a tablespoon of coconut oil, put in mouth.
2) Swish around between the teeth for 15 to 20 minutes. At first, depending on the storage temperature of your coconut oil, the oil might be more lumpy and take longer to break down in the mouth into a liquid, pulling form.
3) Spit all of it out in either a trash can or outside. You don’t want it building up in your drains, it can clog pipes.
4) If you have never oil pulled, many people, including me, experience flu-like detox symptoms within the first two weeks. Do not stop oil pulling, this is normal.
